Christmas 2003 - option one and two for the Christmas cards. Donna provided the artwork, I took care of manufacturing and distribution while Nikki handled signatures. We went with the more radical (inspired) of the top ideas, "Skeleton with Candy Cane", An interpretation of my favorite Van Gogh piece. Picked up the print at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam when Donna and I set up the Kennesaw University Art Department Spring Break road trip in 2001. We arranged for them all to stay at my buddy's B&B in Amsterdam for a week. I've been visiting with Ken and Vlad since 1995. On and Off I've stayed at Mea's B&B too many times to count. They are great guys and keep a clean and reasonably priced establishment in the heart of the A town. But, back to point. I don't think most of the recipients got the piece. To me, it epitomizes primarily the commercialization of Christmas. It's all about the presents. |

| Foy in Amsterdam 1998.
I am just Too Cool. Many Thanks to photographer Steve Miller, long term neighbor and buddy. His first trip to A Town. Ken and Vlad's place is just down the canal. Check out Mae's B&B if you plan a trip. They keep clean and convenient rooms for a resonable price only 6 min. from Central Station on foot. Ann Franke is around the corner and the Grasshopper is down the street. |
